It occupies a prestigious place among such institutions as renowned Jain scholars are associated with it. It was established as Shri Ganesh Varni Granthmala in 1947 and then converted to Ganesh Varni Sansthan in 1972 by the eminent scholar Pandit Phool Chandra Shastri (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoolchandra_Shastri).
